Mighty's Baby Pool

Hey, guys,

I was chit-chatting with the wife today about the new baby coming, and CoH, and the SG and all that and something occured to me; we should have a baby pool.

What I think we should do is treat this just like a regular baby pool. You have to pay to play, and your initial buy-in gets you two squares. Each additional square you want to purchase will cost extra.


I was thinking we could keep the cost cheap since many of us have yet to run the Villains side for very long, or we could do this on the Heroes Side and made the prices a little higher.

If we do it on villains side, I was thinking we could make the initial buy-in a half a million Infamy, which would buy you two squares in the baby pool. Any additional square you want to buy would be a half a million as well, so that your initial buy-in is a "buy one, get one free" kind of deal.

We'll have to put this together quickly since she is due in less than a month, but once the baby is born, we'll do it as a "winner takes all" kind of thing, and whoever has the square closest to when the baby is born will get all the infamy.


I thought that this could be a fun way for us to get to know any new members, and play a little game outside of CoH while still keeping it CoH related.

LOL. I'll try to get some pics posted soon, but her due date is June 11th, so we gotta get this pool rolling if we're gonna do it at all.

Im sure I can come up with the inf. I just have to think about what my guess is.

With all the AE we were running and stuff, I was able to raise over 20 million on the villain side, so I was assuming that a half a million would be cheap enough for everyone.


If you guys want to use a smaller buy-in, we can, but we also want to keep it high enough that the prize will end up being worth taking the time to play the pool.

Nah, half a mil is good. By my statement, I was saying "let me check radnarok, and if his broke ass don't got no money, I KNOW one of my other 50 villains on champ do, and it's only 10 beans to do a transfer *insert insane laughter here*"

in case you hadn't heard, the baby is going to be born today, so the baby pool is off due to the baby's unexpectedly quick arrival. We'll just have to bet on something else..... like a PvP tournament or something.
